Grade Pay: 1,800 and

  • (In hand Salary for Y city is: 18,355)
  • (In hand Salary for Z city is: 16,915)
  • First Promotion with Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/- after 3 years of service.
  • First Promotion with Grade Pay: Rs. 2000/- after 6 years of service.
  • First Promotion with Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/- after 10 years of service.
  • In Last Promotion anyone can hold the Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/-

SSC MTS eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be either:
  1. citizen of India,or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the IstJanuary, 1962 with theintention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia andVietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be aperson in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to theExamination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibilitycertificate has been issued to him by theGovernment of India.

SSC MTS Age details

Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 23 years. Age relaxation provided to reserved categories as per the Government
