This Exam includes PET/PST (Physical Efficiency test and Physical standards) and Medical test after qualifying the Exam.

SSC CPO eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be either:
  1. citizen of India,or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the IstJanuary, 1962 with theintention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia andVietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be aperson in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to theExamination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibilitycertificate has been issued to him by theGovernment of India.

Minimum age is 20 years and maximum age is 25 years. Age relaxation provided to reserved categories as per the Government (PH - "Physically Handicapped" candidates are not eligible for this exam.)

SSC CPO Educational Qualification

  1. All Posts: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  2. SI in Delhi Police: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university + Male candidates must carry a valid Driving License for motor cycle and car during PET/PST, otherwise candidate will not be eligibile for SI Delhi Police.

  • For All male candidates: 80 cms. (expansion chest of 05 cms is necessary)

Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Male and Females

  2. 1.6 Kms Race: 6.5 mins.
  3. Long Jump: 3.65 Meters in 3 chances
  4. High Jump: 1.2 Meters in 3 chances
  5. Shot Put (16 lbs): 4.5 Meters in 3 chances
  1. 100 Meters Race: 18 seconds
  2. 800 Meters Race: 4 minutes
  3. Long Jump: 2.7 Meters in 3 chances
  4. High Jump: 0.9 Meters in 3 chances
  5. Not Applicable in case of Females

 

Medical Test

  • Eye sight should be 6/6 and 6/9 without wearing specs or lenses and no color blindness
  • Candidates should not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes.
  • Should be free from any Physical defects.
TIER I (Computer based Examination) PET/PST TIER II (Computer based Examination) Medical Test

Exam Information:

  • Total Questions: 200
  • Total Duration: 120 Mins.
  • Total Marks: 200 (01 Marks/Each Question)
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks/Question

Subjects of the Exam:

  1. General Intelligence Reasoning: 50 Questions/50 Marks
  2. General Awareness: 50 Questions/50 Marks
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions/50 Marks
  4. English Comprehension: 50 Questions/50 Marks

After clearing the TIER I, You must have to appear in the PET/PST test.

If you fail in this test then your candidature will be rejected.

Please prepare well for this exam also because failure rate in this test is very high

Even 80% candidates are fail in this test.

  • Total Marks: 200 (01 Marks/Each Question)
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks/Question

After clering TIER II, you have to appear into Medical test.

If you fail in this test, You can raise a request for Re-Medical at the time of Medical.

At last you have to clear this Medical test for final selection otherwise your candidature will be failed.
