SSC CGL eligibility CriteriaA candidate must be either:
- citizen of India,or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the IstJanuary, 1962 with theintention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia andVietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be aperson in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to theExamination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibilitycertificate has been issued to him by theGovernment of India.
SSC CGL Age details
Minimum age is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation provided to reserved categories as per the Government rule.

SSC CGL Educational Qualification
- Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered Accountant / Management Accountant / Company Secretary / Masters in Commerce / Masters in Business Studies / Masters in Business Administration (Finance) / Masters in Business Economics.
- Statistical Investigator Grade – II: Bachelor Degree in Statistics from a recognized University. / Bachelor Degree in Mathematics with statistic / Bachelor Degree in Economics with statistics / Bachelor Degree in Commerce with Statistics
- Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subject.
- All Other Posts: Any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
